The science center in Lund, Sweden, combines exhibition hall, gallery, workshops, museum shop, restaurant, offices and an auditorium. The main purpose of the Science Center is to promote general interest in natural science and research in an engaging and playful way and to showcase existing and future technologies supporting sustainable and climate-friendly solutions. Science Center is the name of a brand-new science museum that is scheduled to open in the city of Lund in the south of Sweden in 2024. The museum is uniquely situated in the middle of the new urban district Science Village Scandinavia in the Swedish university city, which is known for a strong, international research environment, a rich cultural scene and its ancient history, which dates back to the tenth century. All the 170 companies and organisations that rent space with us here are members of Medicon Village.

Ideon Science Park hosts some 350 compa-nies which collaborate with Lund University and have helped to make Lund known worldwide for cutting-edge research and technology. Science Village ligger i nordöstra Lund. Bolaget, Science Village Scandinavia AB, äger den centrala marken vid spårvägshållplats ESS (invigs augusti 2020).
